Samurai Champloo

Synopsis

In an anachronistic Edo-period Japan infused with hip-hop culture, a hardworking young waitress named Fuu rescues two highly skilled swordsmen from execution: the wild, unpredictable vagabond Mugen and the stoic, disciplined ronin Jin. In return, she convinces them to join her on a sweeping journey across the country to find the mysterious samurai who smells of sunflowers. Together, this uneasy trio battles eccentric assassins, navigates bizarre local disputes, and constantly struggles to find their next meal in a stylish, action-packed adventure.
